Will Cody Deaner bring his gold to his GFW Debut?

On Friday January 22nd, Cody Deaner makes his in-ring debut with Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling. After a successful social media campaign with his self-produced YouTube video, Cody was able to get the attention of Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling management. GFW reached out to Cody and booked him on their first event of 2016 in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Part of the self-produced video discussed Cody Deaner's multiple championships. Cody Deaner is currently the Border City Wrestling, Crossfire Wrestling, Rock Solid Wrestling, and Magnificent Championship Wrestling champion.

Cody asked reached out to his fans on his Twitter and Instagram pages and asked them if they thought he should bring his titles to his GFW debut. The response from fans was all positive, with a unanimous majority, encouraging Cody to bring his belts to Poughkeepsie.

"One thing that has drawn me to Global Force Wrestling's vision is the fact that they don't exist in a bubble," Cody said. "They acknowledge wrestler's past achievements and the titles they currently hold in other companies. GFW doesn't think it makes sense business-wise to ignore other wrestling companies. I agree. So will I show up on January 22nd with all my gold? Hmmm. We'll see."
