Cody Deaner and his charity work for the Rumball Foundation for the Deaf through his "Giv'er for Charity" campaign is featured in the Fall 2018 newsletter sent out to all camp attendees and donors. The feature includes a Facebook post by Cody detailing his special bond with Rumball Deaf Camp camper Christopher Monohan. "I'm honored to be on the cover of their most recent newsletter," Cody said. "Christopher is a special kid. I'm happy to see people learning about his story. And I'm happy to help the people at the Rumball Deaf Camp in anyway I can. Whether that's through financial support through the Giv'er for Charity campaign, or helping spread awareness about their amazing organization. I'm just happy to contribute in anyway I can." For the fifth straight year, with Cody Deaner in the main event, pro wrestling sells out at the Parkhill Fall Fair.
"I look forward to this show almost more than any other event I do all year," Cody Deaner said. "It's in my hometown, which is awesome. But, even more than that, the fans here are the loudest and rowdiest fans I perform in front of all year long. I literally get swarmed and embraced by the kids on my way to the ring. It reminds me of when fans swarmed wrestlers back in the 70's and 80's. You just don't see that much anymore - pure, true emotion from the crowd. It happens every year in Parkhill. It's truly special." Wrestling has become the main attraction at the Parkhill Fall Fair since wrestling started coming to the fair 5 years ago. Cody Deaner has main evented every event in Parkhill. Every year it sells out and it keeps getting bigger and better. "We'll see what next year brings," Cody said. "I'm already looking forward to it." Cody Deaner was surprised at a recent wrestling event in Rodney, Ontario when he looked out in the audience and saw a sign that said: "I travelled 3,870 miles to see Deaner."
Cody met with the fans who came from Holland after his match and took pictures with their entire family. To see more pictures of Cody with his fans, follow Cody on his Instagram page HERE. At recent wrestling event in Port Hope, Ontario, Cody Deaner was pleasantly surprised by a a woman he'd never met, but was deeply connected to Cody's fundraiser for Camp BUCKO through his "Giv'er for Charity" campaign. Cody told the following story on his Facebook fan page: "Sometimes the world tells you you’re doing something right... In August I announced I’d be raising money for Camp BUCKO throughout August & September with my “Giv’er for Charity” campaign. When I made the announcement, I was put in contact with Magdalena De Vries... a woman who is a burn survivor & went to Camp Bucko in her youth. I connected with Maggie online and she told me about how amazing and life-changing Camp Bucko was for her. It helped solidify in my mind that I knew I had made the right choice of charity. Last weekend, I wrestled in a crazy match at the Port Hope Fair where I wrestled all over the carnival (you can see clips of this madness here: https://youtu.be/rYrNMUycuWU) After my match, a woman approached me and said, “Hi, I’m Maggie.” It took me a minute to realize who she was. “Whoa... you’re MAGGIE!” I said, “What are you doing here?!” “I work right there,” she said, pointing over to one of the food booths. Wow. What are the odds? That day I wrestled right beside her booth, then set up a table raising money for Camp Bucko right beside her booth! THEN... she went and grabbed a shirt to give me as a gift... one of her camp shirts that she wore as a youth attending camp. Unreal. Sometimes I question if my charity work is really making all that much of a difference. I don’t raise hundreds of thousands of dollars and I’m not a big time celebrity. But I took this as a sign from the Big Man Upstairs that I’m on the right track... and what I’m doing matters. Sometimes the world is trying to tell you something. I’ve learned it’s best to listen. Thank you so much for the gift Maggie. It means a lot. And thanks to everyone who has given money toward the “Giv’er for Charity” campaign the last few months. I’ll be raising $ for Camp BUCKO at all my shows right up until the end of September. Keep givin’er guys. 🤘 Sincerely, Cody Deaner" Click HERE to learn more about the GIV'ER FOR CHARITY campaign. In what might possibly be the most ridiculous wrestling match in history ... Cody Deaner fought in what was dubbed a "Carny Street Fight" at the Port Hope Fair vs. Ben Boone on Sunday Sept 16th, 2018. The fight started in the ring, but ended on the carnival midway! The match saw everything from ice cream cones, rubber ducky ponds, a dart game, squirt guns, a suspension bridge, a giant slide, the Himilaya "He's gonna PUKE!" ride, puking, and of course ... the DDT! Watch the FULL HIGHLIGHTS from the match above... and share with all your friends! BRAND NEW Cody Deaner "Just Giv'er" wolf shirts are now available.

Every year there are children and entire families going insane. Every year one of the highlights of the Parkhill Fall Fair is the professional wrestling show.
"I love it," Cody Deaner said. "I look forward to it every year. We had to move to the arena last year because it's been growing so fast. I see us packing the arena again this year with another insanely enthusiastic crowd." This year, Cody will be defending his Heavyweight Championship against an opponent the likes of which Parkhill has never seen - the near 400 pound TANU "The Savage." Will Cody be able to give TANU his patented DDT finishing move? Or, better yet, will he actually be able to pick him up and slam him? You'll have to be at the Parkhill Fall Fair to find out.
