Cody Deaner first met Conor when Conor was an 8 year old wrestling fan. Conor would come to all of Cody's wrestling events and cheer him on from ringside. Recently, Cody and Conor reconnected. When they did, Cody learned that Conor is suffering from numerous medical conditions; including, Coffin-Lowry Syndrome, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, crohn's disease, oxygen treatments, and more.

Conor is a walking miracle. He was told he wouldn't live past his 18th birthday. Conor is now 22 years old and still fighting. But his fight includes numerous medical expenses that are not covered by medical insurance. This has created a large financial burden on the family. The "Giv'er for Conor" campaign is trying to raise $2000 before Christmas. Cody will also be donating 100% of the money he raises at his various wrestling & speaking events between now and Christmas from his "Giv'er for Charity" merchandise sales.

All money raised will go to the Gunkel family. These funds will relieve a large financial burden off the family and give Conor's family the ability to pay for Conor's growing medical bills including, but not limited to - vehicle fuel to get them to weekly visits for oxygen treatment, weekly oxygen treatment, various prescription medications, other treatments Conor needs for his various health issues.
