"Giv'er for Charity" opens Facebook fundraiser for the Lansdowne Children's Centre for #WorldAutismDay

Last year, the "Giv'er for Charity" campaign raised $1000 for the "Every Kid Counts" program at the Lansdowne Children's Centre. Cody, along with his friend Regan (a child who benefited greatly from programs at Lansdowne) were able to team up to raise the money together by selling autographed Cody Deaner caricature portraits at Cody's wrestling events across Ontario. This year, throughout March, April, & May, Cody and Regan are again raising money for the "Every Kid Counts" program at Lansdowne. The Every Kid Counts program is an award winning program that allows children and youth with special needs to have an equal opportunity to participate in their local community recreation and leisure programs. The Every Kid Counts program provides a support worker to provide both hands on and programming support to the child/youth, family, and recreation staff to promote full participation in the provided recreation/leisure activity.

Cody has added "Giv'er for Charity" t-shirts to the campaign to help raise the funds. Last year, all the funds were collected in person at events. This year, we're adding this online fundraiser to the cause. If we reach the $1000 goal online and add that to the in-person donations at Cody's wrestling and speaking events, the hope is we will DOUBLE the amount brought in last year.
