Cody Deaner wins "London City Riot" match in front of a standing room only crowd at Smash Wrestling10/3/2017
On Sunday, October 1st, Cody Deaner defeated "Hacker" Scotty O'Shea in a no-DQ street fight dubbed a "London City Riot" match at Smash Wrestling's "Fight Knight" event at the London City Music Hall. Cody Deaner insisted on this riotous match after Scotty O'Shea sucker-punched Deaner on the first event held at the London City Music Hall, and then low-blowed him in their match at the London City Music Hall's second inaugural event. The "London City Riot" match main-evented a sold out, standing room only event in front of a crowd who were in awe as they saw O'Shea and Deaner fight all over the building. Highlights included a spinebuster through a stack of chairs, Deaner diving off the stage through a table onto O'Shea, O'Shea taking the ring apron and padding off to reveal the steel and wood under the ring, and ultimately a win for Deaner via a DDT onto a giant stack of chairs and O'Shea's keyboard. Cody Deaner had the following to say on his Facebook and Instagram pages: "#PackedHouse & #StandingRoomOnly last night at Smash Wrestling at the London Music Hall The positive feedback I've received from fans on my #LondonCityRiot match vs. Scotty O'Shea has been overwhelming. One lifelong wrestling fan told me today that it was by far the best match they'd ever seen live. If I could bottle the energy in that room last night & sell it, I'd be a rich redneck. The amount of support shown at the #MerchTable was off the charts. Thanks for the support London. The #DeanerDynasty is STRONG in the #ForestCity. Keep givin'er!" Comments are closed.
