Cody Deaner surprises a Fan at her Birthday party!

On Saturday, April 2nd, 2016, Cody Deaner surprised Emalee at her 11th birthday party. Tears and laughter ensued. Here's what Cody had to say about it on his Facebook page at Facebook.com/CodyDeaner ...

"This is Emalee.
​Today was her 11th birthday party. Her parents wanted to surprise her, so they decided to book her favourite wrestler to show up for her party ... me.
When I arrived, Emalee let out a death defying and excited scream and then broke down crying. Feeling humbled by the whole experience, I consoled her and then we all took some fun photos and then sat down and had a great chat about our favourite wrestlers and Emalee's dream to be a wrestler one day.
I learned from Emalee's father that she knew nothing about wrestling until randomly going to a wrestling show with her family a few years ago. As soon as she saw me wrestle in the main event, she was hooked. And wrestling has consumed her life ever since.
Her parents told me that she will never forget this day. I can honestly say the same thing for myself. To step back and realize that as a wrestler, I can have this effect on people is a very humbling experience.
Thanks for the fun party Emalee! I'm happy you like your new Cody Deaner t-shirt. And remember, no matter what anyone says, you CAN be a pro wrestler when you grow up.
