Cody Deaner’s “Giv’er for Charity” Campaign
The campaign to raise money for a different charity every month in 2018

Port Bruce, ON, January 27, 2018– Cody Deaner announced today that in 2018, he will be running a new campaign he is calling “Giv’er for Charity.”

Cody Deaner will be teaming up with local artist, Rikar Art ©, and selling an amazing print of Rikar Art’s one-of-a-kind cartoon caricature of “The Redneck Renegade” Cody Deaner. Rikar volunteers with a variety of local organizations in the St. Thomas, ON area inspiring kids and teaching them art skills.

“I saw Rikar’s artwork for the first time at the St. Thomas Sports Spectacular which was a fundraiser for the Special Olympics. He created artwork of Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Roberto Alomar, myself, and many others. He told me I could give some of his prints away for charity if I wished. It got my mind racing and I decided that rather than just give a few prints away, I wanted to go big or go home.”

At every single wrestling event that Cody Deaner is involved with in 2018, Cody will be selling these prints at his merchandise table and autographing them for $10. 100% of the proceeds from all sales of the prints will be going to charity. Which charity? That’s up to the fans…

Every month, Cody will be choosing a different charity to donate to based on the choice of the fans, or a local cause that is brought to Cody's attention that he feels immediately drawn to. Cody wants to give back to his fans, so the charities he picks will be ones that are directly linked to his fans in some way.

“I’ve been involved with so many different charities during my wrestling career, whether that’s the Special Olympics, or raising money for Ethan’s Journey. There are so many amazing charities out there that I knew I couldn’t just pick one. So, I thought I’d go to my fans, the “Deaner Dynasty,” for help in picking some amazing causes.”
