 On Wednesday August 10th, Cody Deaner was the guest speaker at the North Middlesex YMCA Kids Camp. Cody wrote the following about the experience on his Facebook Page: "Follow your dreams ... That's the message I had for kids this morning when I was the guest speaker at the North Middlesex YMCA kids camp. I told the kids that I had the dream of becoming a wrestling champion at the age of 5. I had an adult tell me that it wasn't possible. But I proved them wrong. I made sure the kids always remember that no matter what anyone might say, if you put in the hard work, any dream is possible. We then took some sweet photos together and I got to chat with each kid individually while I signed a personalized autograph photo for each of them. We have some future astronauts, NHLers, farmers ... and of course, a few wrestlers! We have some awesome dreamers. Then each kid got to make their very own championship belt! It was a great morning at the Municipality of North Middlesex YMCA. What a privilege it is to speak into these kids' lives. Follow your dreams CHAMPS!" Comments are closed.
