Cody DEaner gets his shot with Global Force Wrestling

On January 1st, 2016, Cody Deaner released a video telling the world he wanted a shot to prove to the world what he is really capable of by getting a shot with Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling. Cody asked his fans (known as the #DeanerDynasty) to share the video with friends and to let Jeff Jarrett and GFW know that Deaner deserves a shot.

Within just 5 days, Jeff Jarrett responded with a tweet asking the GFW fans (known as the #AmpedArmy) what they thought of the video. By day 6, after an overwhelmingly positive response, GFW quickly responded by giving Cody Deaner a shot with GFW on Jan 22nd in Poughkeepsie, NY.

"I am blown away by the response I received from the fans," Cody said. "My fans really got behind me and hounded Global Force Wrestling and Jeff Jarrett. I wasn't that surprised by the support of my fans, because they've always been very supportive of what I do. But I was surprised at how fast GFW responded to my fans and the support with a booking in their first show of 2016. I can't thank my #DeanerDynasty family enough."
