Cody Deaner Faces Eli Drake at Sold Out Impact Wrestling "One Night Only" Tapings

On Saturday March 4th, Cody Deaner faced Eli Drake in front of a turn-away SOLD OUT crowd in Windsor, Ontario at St. Clair College.

The event was being taped for a special "One Night Only" Impact Wrestling broadcast that will air internationally and will premiere on the Global Wrestling Network app on Friday March 16th at 8PM ET.

"I took this as an opportunity to show Impact Wrestling management that I can truly go in the ring," Cody said. "It's been a long time since I stepped foot in an Impact ring. The last time I did, I got to prove I can be funny and entertaining. But, I wanted to prove to them and show the world what all of my loyal fans already know ... and that's that I can GIV'ER."

Cody got to prove this in front of a jam-packed and raucous crowd that was clearly on his side during the match. "Facing the former Impact Wrestling Champion on an event that will air internationally is a pretty cool deal," Cody said. "But, to do it in front of a sold-out crowd in a town I consider a home away from home, in front of a loyal following that is chanting my name at the top of their lungs, makes it extra sweet."
